I am a very experienced speaker and regularly give talks to camera clubs and natural history groups. The talks are usually two halves of forty minutes each with a break in between. Of course these can be tailored to your individual requirements. My current topics are as follows:
‘The Wildlife of the UK’
The first half is about the wildlife that I photograph on my home patch around Epping forest and the second half is a look behind the scenes where I photograph kingfishers, little owls and red kites.
‘Solo in Tanzania’
Each year I lead a photography group on safari to Ndutu and the Serengeti. In 2012, I stayed on for two weeks on my own with my guide Bildad and this talk is the story of those two weeks.
‘Tigers & Sharks’
From 2013 the first half features my trip to Tshukudu near the Kruger in South Africa for big cats and my pursuit of great white sharks hunting cape fur seals at Seal Island in False Bay near Cape town. The second half covers two separate trips to Bandhavgarth & Ranthambhore in India to photograph tigers.
Featuring the iconic species such as golden eagle, sparrowhawk, white tailed sea eagle, red kite, buzzards, osprey's and red footed falcons. I show a behind the scenes look at the methods used to capture the images in Hungary, Norway, Poland and of course the UK.
'The Great Migration'
Using pictures and video from three recent trips to Tanzania & Kenya this talk follows the great wildebeest migration and Africa's most iconic predators.
I also give photography tuition with the emphasis on the natural world. Both one to one and small group sessions are available
